KIBS

KIBS is the operator of the core payment infrastructure in North Macedonia. Established following the national payment system reform in 2001, the company has been successfully operating the clearing system for small-value interbank payments for more than 25 years. Recently, KIBS has also been licensed as an operator of payment systems for standard credit transfers and instant payments. KIBS is a qualified trust service provider and an operator of electronic identification schemes compliant with both national legislation and the European eIDAS regulation. The company is also a co-founder of the first national electronic identification scheme, OneID, developed in partnership with Nextsens.
