Finelevate and Macedonia2025 Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to Support Digital Transformation, Innovation and the Development of the Macedonian Economy

24.06.2026

Finelevate and Macedonia2025 signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening support for digital transformation, innovation, the development of modern financial services, and improved connectivity between companies, institutions, experts and international networks.

The Memorandum was signed by Viktor Krstevski, Founder and CEO of Finelevate, and Prof. Dr. Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski, CEO of Macedonia2025.

Through this cooperation, the two organizations confirm their shared commitment to contributing to the development of a more innovative, competitive and digitally prepared economy, through activities focused on the financial sector, the fintech ecosystem, small and medium-sized enterprises, technology companies and the wider business community.

The cooperation will include knowledge exchange, organization of joint initiatives, support for educational and professional activities, promotion of innovation, connection with relevant experts and companies, as well as the creation of practical opportunities for the development of new digital services and business models.

Special focus will be placed on topics of strategic importance for the future development of the market, including digital transformation in the financial sector, fintech solutions, digital identity and trust services, artificial intelligence, data, cybersecurity, e-services, digital channels and modern customer experiences.

During the meeting, a broader discussion was also opened on some of the systemic challenges faced by the Macedonian economy, particularly in the areas of cooperation between companies, joint development of new services and limited capacities for investment in innovation.

It was emphasized that small markets, such as the Macedonian market, cannot develop only through isolated initiatives and individual efforts by separate companies. Faster development of modern digital services, financial technologies and innovative business models requires more trust, partnerships, knowledge sharing and a joint approach to market opportunities.

Special attention was also given to the challenges faced by foreign investors and companies when entering the Macedonian market, including procedures for opening bank accounts, managing financial processes, administrative barriers and the need for simpler, more digital and more efficient solutions.

In addition, the discussion also addressed cultural challenges in business cooperation, where a long-term approach based on trust and a “win-win” logic is often missing. Instead of building partnerships in which all parties create value, part of the market dynamic still moves toward short-term “win-lose” approaches, and in certain situations even toward outcomes in which all parties ultimately lose.

For this reason, Finelevate and Macedonia2025 see this cooperation as an opportunity to promote a different approach — one based on partnership, joint development, open dialogue, practical support for companies and the creation of conditions for a more innovative, competitive and open economy.

“North Macedonia has knowledge, talent and companies with potential, but as a small market we must build much more through cooperation, trust and the joint development of services. We cannot always expect each company to carry all investments, risks and innovation on its own. We need more win-win partnerships, more practical support for investors and companies that want to create value, and greater readiness to jointly build solutions that will be competitive beyond our market,” said Viktor Krstevski, Founder and CEO of Finelevate.

“Macedonia2025 continuously works on connecting knowledge, leadership, the diaspora and the business community in the direction of economic development and greater competitiveness. Cooperation with Finelevate opens space for joint activities in areas that are essential for the future of companies and the economy — digitalization, innovation, financial technologies and the development of modern skills,” said Prof. Dr. Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski, CEO of Macedonia2025.

The Memorandum creates a foundation for future joint activities, events, expert discussions, research, knowledge programs and initiatives that will contribute to accelerating digital transformation and strengthening the competitiveness of Macedonian companies.

Through this partnership, Finelevate and Macedonia2025 confirm their commitment to creating value through cooperation, knowledge and practical initiatives that support the development of a modern, innovative and digitally oriented economy.
